OSSSC CRE Recruitment 2026 – Post-wise Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications as per the official OSSSC notification:

Forester

  • Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board
  • Must have basic computer knowledge

Forest Guard

  • Passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board

Excise Constable

  • Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board

📌 Note: Equivalent qualifications will be considered only if recognized by the Government.

Age Limit (as on notification cut-off date)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 38 Years

Age Relaxation (as per Govt. rules)

  • OBC: 3 Years

  • PwD + SC/ST: Up to 15 Years

Salary / Pay Scale

Forester₹25,500/- (Level-7)
Forest Guard₹19,900/- (Level-4)
Excise Constable₹28,000 – ₹34,000/-

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through the following stages:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Forest Guard & Excise Constable
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Forest Guard & Excise Constable
  4. Document Verification
